Like many people, when I was a little girl we had farm animals. We had cows, pigs, horses, a mule, and we had chickens. I loved the chickens. When the momma hen would leave the nest after "sitting" on the eggs, sometimes all the eggs would not be hatched. I loved when that happened! I loved baby chicks!
